

Larry was a 1968 graduate from Louisiana School for the Deaf and a 1971 graduate from Delgado Junior College of New Orleans where he earned his degree in science. He worked hard to provide for his family as a Civil Designer. In 2015, he retired from Recon Management Services, Inc. Larry was a proud member of many organizations, organizations such as Louisiana Association of the Deaf, Lafayette Athletic Association of the Deaf, and Louisiana Special School District of Louisiana for which he was president.
His wonderful memory will forever be held in the hearts of his loving wife of 30 years, Debora Cross LeBert of Lake Charles; his daughter, Kris Guffa and her husband, Phillip, of New Orleans; his sons, Larry Paul LeBert II of Houston, TX., and Daniel Paul McAdams and his wife, Julie, of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by three brothers, Bryan "William" Stewart Jr. and his wife, LeDonna, of Sulphur, John Robert "Bob" Stewart also of Sulphur, and Douglas Stewart and his wife, Kristi, of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Glenda LeDoux of Sulphur, Carol Duhon and her husband, James, of Little Rock, AR., Gail Roy and her husband, Johnny, of Monroe, and Brenda Dupriest and her husband, Jack, also of Monroe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Larry on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 4pm at Trinity Baptist Church at 1800 Country Club Road Lake Charles, LA 70605. A reception will follow after the services. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family via the west entrance of the church.
