

Laura was a loving wife of 60 years to Aubrey Boudreaux. She was a beautiful angel on this earth, who now has perfect wings. Throughout her illness, she smiled, loved and laughed with all her being. She was loved by all and she had a way of making you feel special. She was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Laura was a member of University United Methodist Church. She was a faithful choir member and active in church. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
Laura is survived by her husband, Aubrey Boudreaux; son, Chris Boudreaux and wife, Debbie; granddaughter, Heather and her companion Bry; great granddaughter, Lilith ; sisters, Marvel Donnell, Lois Ferguson and husband Bob, Mary Blake and husband Jim, Carol Macias and husband Frank; brother, Will Harvey; brother-in-law, Charlie Onxley; sister-in-laws, Donna Onxley and Jane Harvey; 9 nieces and 12 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Harvey; brothers, Wilbert, Buddy, Gene, and Johnny as well as a sister, Sylvia Chapman.
Please join us as we celebrate and remember "The Beautiful Life of Laura Boudreaux." Celebration Services will be at 2pm on Saturday on March 5, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Charles Langford will officiate. Pallbearers assisting in her service will be Johnny, Al, and Jordon Manela, Heather and Lilith Boudreaux, Randy Onxley, Paula Handy and Timothy Krueger. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff and Gary Donnell. Visitation will be 4 – 8pm on Friday, March 4, 2011 and Saturday, 8am until time of service. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery.
