Lenny was happiest when he was outdoors. Whether fishing, crabbing, or working in landscaping, he found joy in staying active and spending time in nature. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and ability to bring laughter wherever he went. Lenny was always the life of the party, bringing family and friends together with his stories, humor, and larger-than-life personality. One of his greatest qualities was his generous heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, making sure they had food, shelter, or support during difficult times.

Above all, Lenny cherished his family. He leaves behind his mother, Dorothy Terry; two sons, John Paul Allee and his companion, Dora Kline, and Adam James Allee; one daughter, Kelli Allee Sonnier and her husband, Dusty. He was a proud grandfather to Tanner, Brady, Eavin, Ashlen, Abby, Zachary, Raegan, Ty, and Atley and was also blessed with three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his children and grandchildren, Lenny is survived by his brothers, James “Jimmy” Allee and Benny Allee and his companion, Monica ; his sisters, Ruth Conner and husband Clyde, and Pam Godley and husband Bill; his step-sisters, Linda, Diane, and Debbie; his step-brother, David; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife and high school sweetheart, Ruby “Kim” Allee; his father, James C. Allee and stepmother, Opal Allee; and other beloved family members.
Lenny will be remembered for his laughter, kindness, hardworking spirit, and unwavering willingness to help others. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. His presence could brighten any room, and the memories he created with family and friends will continue to bring comfort and joy for years to come.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Elaine for her loving care and support. They also wish to recognize Lenny’s cherished friends, especially his lifelong friend, Dwayne Lejeune, and his former sister-in-law and dear friend, Marianne Allee.
