LC's brother, Curtis, was my granddaddy. When Curt died and LC found out I had moved far away from home and was alone in California, he started writing me. And for the last 23 years, he made sure I had letters, pictures, and Christmas cards from family. 27 grandchildren and he found time for me! A great, loving man.

Uncle L.C., I will miss your happy smiling face. Always a joy to be around. Telling old stories we all enjoyed hearing. You were a great brother to my mother, uncle to all us nieces and nephews, and most of all a wonderful daddy to your children. I will always love you and think of you with a smile.

Uncle L.C. was the best Uncle in the world! He was always joking, laughing and telling stories. I am going to miss him so much. Bill only knew Uncle a short time, but loved him and thought the world of him and Uncle L.C. made Bill feel part of the family. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Uncle L.C. always had a way to make you laugh. As I was growing up, I always loved to listen to him and dad tell their stories, even the ones they talked about when they thought none of us kids were listening. I will miss you greatly, I love you!

In Memory of Uncle L.C. Marshall, You have been a great Uncle over the years. It was always exciting when you came to visit! We won't forget you. I am glad my children and most of our grandchildren got to meet you when you drove to Tennessee last summer. You were an inspiration and lived life to the fullest...taking trips & having adventures from the time you were in the Millitary Service until your last days watching NASCAR. We will remember you always. Love, Your niece, Carolyn & Bob Owens
