Lloyd Haviland

Lloyd was involved in many hobbies some of which include; fishing, hunting, spending time with his loved ones and just being outside enjoying the weather. He was a loving father, son, grandfather and friend who will be missed greatly.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years Carolyn Landry Haviland, two sons; Michael Burdette Haviland and wife Gina Rae of Lake Charles, LA, Joseph Darren Haviland and wife Denise Poole Haviland of Grandlake, LA, two daughters; LaDana Rene Richard of Lafayette,LA and Megan D’Nae Haviland of Lake Charles, LA., five grandchildren; Treavor, Michaela, Emily Poole, Paul Allen, Jada Rene, Hayden Christopher, two great-grandchildren; Korhi Layne and Kelbi Rae. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Burdett and Tennie Reacker (Rivers) Haviland and two brothers, Robert and Chester Haviland.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles with The Very Rev. Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Arthur Primeaux and Dr. Ben Thompson in the assistance and care for Lloyd.
