He retired as an operator for PPG in 2000.
He is survived by his sons, Marty Huval of Lake Charles, Scotty Huval and wife, Jessica of LeBleu Settlement and Seth Huval and wife, Amanda of Lake Charles; daughter, Tammy Huval Kohnke and husband, Buddy of Lake Charles; brother, Ricky Huval and wife, Roxanne of Moss Bluff; 11 grandchildren.
His funeral will be 2:00pm, Monday, June 24, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. Gary Evers will officiate. Visitation will begin Sunday 5:00pm-9:00pm and resume Monday 8:00am until service time. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Iowa.
