Moss Bluff - Loretta Lula Hebert, 89, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 in a local hospital.
She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. She loved flowers, watching humming birds, cardinals and the squirrels in her yard and baking her wonderful pies.
She is survived by her husband, Evan Hebert of Moss Bluff; daughters, Norma Jean Farmer and husband Jerry of Powell, TN; Dianna Lynn Byrd and husband Sammy of Knoxville, TN; daughter-in-law, Michelle Nowell; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, James Edward Nowell and her sister, Elnora Strauser.
Her service will be at 11:30am, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm and resume Wednesday from 8am until time of service with a rosary at 10:30am. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
