Loretta Ann Boudreaux Jagneaux, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home surrounded by the loving care and support of her family Thursday, November 17, 2011. She was born October 17, 1938 in Church Point, Louisiana to parents, Jack and Lula Boudreaux.
Loretta considered Lake Charles her home as she nurtured her family, and worked side-by-side with her husband building a successful chiropractic practice for 49 years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and of course adored anything of the color blue. Loretta spent every day celebrating love and believed that a positive outlook on life was most important. “Life is wonderful,” she always said.
Her husband Dr. Willie Jagneaux, her only child Keith Jagneaux and his wife, Ellen survive her as well as grandsons, Adam Jagneaux and his wife, Danielle, David Jagneaux and his wife, Hope, and Jason Jagneaux. Her cherished great-grandsons, considered “Grandma’s Angels” are Brody and Eli Jagneaux. Her surviving siblings are: Eldine Boudreaux, Floyd Boudreaux, Linda Morgan, Drusilla Boudreaux, Glenda Fay Boudreaux, Glenn Boudreaux, and Carl Boudreaux.
Her parents, Jack and Lula Boudreaux, two brothers, Jack Lester and Hendrick as well as a sister, Theresa Brady preceded Loretta in death.
The Jagneaux family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Cynthia Scott and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion.
