She was born August 23, 1926 to Amy and Merrick Chapman in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her step daughter, Cynthia Jones; sister, Theresa Smith and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Karmin Nelson, Alex Jones and Kelsey Jones; and great grandchild, Makaela Bertrand. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amy and Merrick Chapman; husband, Paul Guillory; brothers, Merrick Chapman, Jr., Laurel Chapman, Jerry Chapman and Andy Chapman; sisters, Betty Fontenot and Wanda Vidrene.
Her visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
