Lourdes G Nixon

Lourdes was of Catholic Faith and attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a very compassionate nurse of 51 years until her retirement in 2018. Lourdes enjoyed playing mahjong with her life long friends. She was an incredible cook and loved to feed her family and friends.

Lourdes was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso Gutierrez and Elena Repollo Gutierrez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, James Nixon; son, James "Sonny" Nixon; daughter, Kissney Traub and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Alexandra Pearl Ardoin, James Michael Traub, Kodi Elena Traub, Jace Dylan Nixon, and Conner James Nixon; one great-granddaughter, Lennon Pearl Watson; a brother, Antonio Gutierrez and his wife, Bonnie; nephews & niece, Shane, Natasha, and Cory Gutierrez.

We welcome friends and family for visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. and scripture service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Lilys. Rev. Rommel Tolentino will officiate services.
