Mae F Westrope

She was born February 8, 1925 in Elton, LA to Armogene and Bertha (LaFleur) Fontenot. She married Harold C. Westrope in 1947 and he preceded her in death. Her parents, two brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Mary Ann Westrope Jeffers and her husband Charles and Patricia Ann Westrope all of Lake Charles. Also surviving are two grandsons, Scott and Jason Jeffers.

Mae was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Heaven, where she was a member of the Alter Society and the Catholic Daughters. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and Clerk with J.C. Penny and Our Lady Queen of Heaven.

A visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles will be on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm and will resume Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 8:30am until time for service. A funeral Mass will be 10:00am Saturday, at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Burial will follow the service at Consolata Cemetery.
