Margaret Ann Muth

She was born in Lake Charles and reared in Grand Lake. She was a graduate of Grand Lake High School and received a Bachelor of Arts from McNeese and taught school at the Episcopal Day School. She also served as the middle school coordinator and athletic director.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Muth of Lake Charles; son, Joseph Muth V of Sulphur; daughters, Rachel Ann Muth of Lake Charles and Sarah Elizabeth Herrick of Lake Charles; sister, Mary (Kathy) Corry of Starks; grandchildren, Joseph C. Muth, Cameo R. Muth, Cardegan R. Muth, Addica R. Muth, Adrien R. Muth and Cwen R. Muth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Geneva Hebert Humphries.

Her funeral will be 11am, Monday, November 12, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. John (Jack) Myers and Rev. Deacon Frances (Boo) Kay will officiate. Visitation will begin Sunday 4pm-8pm and resume Monday 8am until service time. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Episcopal Day School.
