Margaret Ann Savoie

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed greatly.

Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Rutherford, her mother, Mary Valentine Boudreaux LaBove, a grandson, Chance Gabriel Savoie, and a sister, Mary Jane Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Jerry Savoie; son, Chuck Savoie and his wife, Tina; son, Rev. Fr. Johnnie Savoie; granddaughter, Hope Alicia Savoie; great-grandchildren, Annie Marie Trahan, Drake Anthony Trahan, and Kolton Wayne Conner; sisters, Charlane LaSalle, Rose Shelter (Carl), and Emily Sue Pence; host of nieces and nephews and her precious fur baby, Harlow.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at J. E. Hixson Funeral Home in the Chapel of Peace. A Rosary will begin at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Margaret Catholic Church with Rev. Johnnie Savoie officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
