She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was affectionately called "Big Mom" by all.
Belle was a very talented and creative lady. She enjoyed painting, quilting, cake decorating, and sewing. She owned Gypsy Peddlers Gift Shop in Westlake, where she taught numerous painting classes.
She is survived by her children, Vonda Friesner (Craig), Jesse Richardson (Malia), Sharla Watson (David), and John Richardson (Cecilia); ten grandchildren, Erin Fullington (Matt), Evan Friesner (Victoria), Ashleigh Richardson (Micheal), Whitney Reeves (Tony), Lauren Harrison (Cade), Katelyn Himel (Cade), Markus Richardson, Philip Richardson, Alec Liggio (Abby), and Aden Liggio; seventeen great grandchildren and one on the way; and a sister, JoAnn Hebert (Tom); beloved friend, Dan Duncan; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Gene Richardson; grandson, Eric Friesner; and great granddaughter, Lily Kate Harrison.
A private family graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Westlake Memorial Cemetery in Westlake, LA. The services were officiated by Pastor Lamar Huffman.
