Mattie Tommasi Wold

She was born in Lake Arthur and lived in Westlake for over 52 years. She was of the Catholic Faith and she attended St. Charles Academy and ICCS schools. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Wold Sr. of Westlake; sons, Ricky Tommasi Sr. of Lake Charles and Kevin Wold Sr. of Lake Charles; daughters, Katie Wold Yarbrough of Little Rock, AR and Deborah Wold Abrahams of Lake Charles; step-sons, Donald Ray Wold Jr. of Lake Charles and John Allen Yandry of Mobile, AL; step-daughter, Angela Ann Wold Seamans of Lake Charles; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Albert Tommasi Jr. and her daughter, Lelia Tommasi Elliot.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. W.H. Yarbrough, Rev. Hugh Yarbrough and Deacon Garrett Caraway will officiate. Her internment will follow the service at Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
