Oh Megan... so much I could say. I miss you so much. I took for granted time. I always thought there would be plenty of it. Allah is the best of planners. We were raised so close. Just like sisters.  Because that's what we are. I miss everything, our house we had, just sitting around laughing. Talking about all the stuff growing up. Our mom's and their crazy friendship.  Going to eat Chinese every payday because it's what they did.  You'll always be my lil sister and forever in my heart. We love you bigger than the world! May Allah forgive you of any sins and grant you paradise.  Say hi to your mom and our Meemaw for me. See u in paradise lil sis. Insha'Allah

You've only been in our lives for such a short while and how I wish we had more time with you but it's not for us to question God's will. In that short while I've came to know what a loving, kind and caring person you were.  I am truly honored to have known you.  May you Rest in Peace sweet angel.

I miss you so much already.  Holidays and vacations will not be the same without you here. You were such a huge presence in our lives that it has been so hard to adjust to not hearing from you. We have so many great memories with  you . I am forever thankful that our paths crossed. I think back to our  road trips to Alexandria and singing to all the cheesy songs along the way. Those were some great trips , there was never a dull moment when you were around. I have  so many memories that I will cherish forever you will always be in my heart and loved by us all .... my thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about your passing Megan. I know we lost touch after our freshman year of high school, but that doesn't mean I forgot about the memories we did have. When I first met you I had just transferred middle schools. You were quick to talk to me and make me feel like I had a friend. You were always the type of person who would do anything and everything you could to help your friends. After reading everyone else's memories it is plain to see that you never changed. Still always smiling and laughing. You were a good person and it is hard to believe that you are gone, but at least we know you are in a wonderful place that we all hope to go when it is our time. Your family and friends are in our prayers. See you on the other side.

Oh Megan we are completely heartbroken  ,  You left us way to soon.  I know you will find your mom and grandma in Heaven waiting to greet you. I will miss you and love you forever.  Until we meet again.

My dearest Megan, one of my two very best friends in the most influential part of my life. We spent so many years together, spending weeks at a time without leaving one another. You were there for me when I was at my lowest, and helped cheer me on when I was finally ready to grow up. I will cherish every single moment of laughter, growth, and even tears that we shared together. We lost a part of our family when we lost you. I will never forget everything you were.

The day you found us. It was like a dream come true. I had always wanted a little sister. And low and behold. I had one out there in this big ol world. I love u lil sister. Watch after cash until I get there. 

We didn't hang out much, but you were always fun to be around. You always seemed to have a smile on your face no matter what happened. I miss you already and I hope you find solace in the next world. 

My sweet girl, you were my first love to call me Nanny, I was so honored when your mom asked if she could give you my middle name.  Me and Poppy were so proud  every time we held you in our arms. There are no words to describe the heart break that everyone is suffering right now, but we know you would want us to move on and be happy.   We love you so much and I know that you are smiling big and you’re so happy to be in your mom’s arms again.  You both left us way too soon, but God had a different plan and we cannot argue with that. Sometimes life just doesn’t seem fair. 
Don’t worry about Delilah,  we will all watch over her.  She is braver than you can imagine.  Rest easy my girl.  Love you always, Nanny

She is survived by her daughter, Delilah Jackson, aunts, Kelley Thacker and husband Jeff of Florida; Alison Gray of Lake Charles; step brother, Codie Turner of TX; step sister, Alyson Young of TX; two nephews and one niece.


She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Jackson and grandmother Karen Jackson.
