Dean worked for Shepler's, now known as CMC Construction Services, for over 40 years. His entire career he spent as an outside salesman and was well known for his outgoing, social personality. Dean was also known across many bowling alleys. He was a fierce competitor in bowling leagues across Houston and the National bowling league. Over the past 40 years Dean went to many competitions across the nation. After he finished working, he enjoyed traveling for bowling; listening to music; eating good food with friends and family and cooking just about anything.
Dean was preceded in death by his father, Lionel Alley, his mother, Delsie House, his half-sister, Grace, and his son, Michael Aaron.
Dean is survived by his wife, Debra Alley; his brother, David Bryan, his half-brother, Creighton Nope, Jr. (wife-Marilyn); his four children, Jennifer Alley, Michelle Alley, Melanie Karwoski, Beaux Alley; his eight grandchildren: Miranda Ingram, Ashley Wicklund, Antonia Bottoms, V. Pearl Karwoski, Ethan Caal Alley, E. Tre Karwoski III, Maddie Alley, and Avery Caal Alley, and his five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon until 1:15 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024 at J.E. Hixson Funeral Home followed by a 1:30 p.m. Graveside Service at Highland Memory Gardens. Hixson Celebrant, Jody Tyler will lead services.
