Michael Shane Harrington

He was born in Lake Charles and lived in Westlake. He was a graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School. He was known by his family and friends as Mr. Fix it McGyver. He also was a jack of all trades and master of one, loving his family.

Survivors include his wife, Delcia Flores Harrington of Westlake; sons, Michael Devon Harrington of Westlake and Matthew Mason Harrington of Denver, CO; daughter, Victoria Fe' Harrington of Westlake; father, Alvin Harrington of Welsh; brother, Gregory Harrington and wife, Tiffany of Houston, TX; sister, Melissa Bergeron and husband, Scott of Moss Bluff; grandmother, Bertha Burgess of Westlake; grandson, Logan Mason Harrington of Denver, CO.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Burgess Harrington.

His funeral will be 10am, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home and resume Thursday, 8am until service time.
