Mitchell Antonio Marshall, 61, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away on January 10, 2025. He was born on August 20, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mitchell found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved cooking, spending time with his daughters, watching football, singing, and working with his hands—whether welding, repairing cars, or pipe fitting.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Holmes Davis; his father, Ernest Marshall; his stepfather, Van Edwin Davis Jr.; and his brother, Sean Van Davis.

Mitchell is survived by his loving family, including his four daughters: Janice Michelle Marshall, Trinity Lyndell Breaux, Brianna Deshay Breaux, and Cheyanne Nichole Breaux, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He also leaves behind four brothers: Ernie Lenard Marshall of Jacksonville, Florida; Brian Keith Marshall (Michele) of Wall Township, New Jersey; John Grady Davis of Los Angeles, California; and Christopher Elijah Davis of New York, New York; as well as one sister, Ruth Charlene Davis of Chandler, Arizona.

He was a beloved uncle to his nephews: Bradlon Skinner of Miami, Florida; Jeremy Marshall (Nayab) of New York, New York; Bruce Christopher John Davis (Jaimie) of Jacksonville, Florida; and Joel Alexander Marshall of Montgomery, Alabama. He also cherished his nieces: Jadiz Marshall Palmer (Omar) of Yulee, Florida, and Katie Davis of Chandler, Arizona. Additionally, he held close bonds with Brittany Breaux and Carley Breaux of Ragley, Louisiana; Helen Doise of Alexandria, Louisiana; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
