Norma Jean Ingalls

Norma Jean Ingalls, age 87, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Friday July 27, 2018. Norma was born April 6, 1931. She had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her family and grandchildren and was a wonderful dedicated caregiver to her husband Clyde for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and sewing. Norma will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Clyde Ingalls.

She is survived by her daughters; Cheryl Bennett and husband Pat of Westlake, LA, Sue Waites and husband Tom of Lake Charles, LA, Jo Lionberger and husband Steve of Lake Charles, LA, and Kay Fruge and husband Carl of Mandeville, LA; sister, JoAnn Duhon and husband Floyd of Laffayette, La; grandchildren, Jason Lionberger, Jacob Lionberger, and Aaron Fruge; great-grandchild, Carter Lionberger. Visitation will be held Monday, July 30,2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 10am until 12pm. Services will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.

We are so saddened to hear of Aunt Jean's passing. However, it is a comfort to know she is enjoying the wonders of heaven. She was always so joyful and loved to talk about her faith and the love she had for her children and close friends and family. We are blessed to have known her love and pray for comfort in the coming days for her family and friends.
