Ouida Louise Hardin

Ouida Louise Hardin, 87, passed away July 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving sons. She was born February 21, 1930 to Mitchell Dartez and Orelia Guidry-Dartez. Ouida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also loved gardening. Ouida was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and devoted Christian.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Hardin and by her parents, Mitchell and Orelia Dartez. Left behind to treasure her memory are her sons, Mark Hardin and Kenneth Hardin and his wife Patricia; sister, Irene Roberts; grandsons, Todd, Tim and wife Chelsey and great-grandsons Ethan and Elias. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Ouida Louise Hardin will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles with burial following in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 13 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles and will resume Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
