Patricia Ann “Cookie” Fournerat, 73, of Lake Charles passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in her residence.

She was born in Lake Charles and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Patricia worked in banking as a teller for Calcasieu Marine and later Hibernia Bank before her retirement and then worked for the casinos. She loved her family and especially enjoyed the time with her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Dickie Fournerat; son, D J “Jimmy” Fournerat (Debra) of Cameron; daughter, Debbie LeBeau (Mark) and sister, Jackie Doga (Darald) all of Lake Charles. She has four grandchildren, Gabriele Fournerat, Cobe Fournerat, Chase LeBeau and Zoe LeBeau.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Isabel Fontenot, brother, Terry Fontenot and brother- in-law, Larry Fontenot.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation will resume Thursday from 8:00 am until time of service. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Word of comfort and memories may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com

I will never forgot our time working together at the bank. All the memories and advice she gave, and I sometimes listened!!!! She would say"ok lil girl"..... Cookie you will be GREATLY missed but NEVER forgotten!!! My prayers are with Mr Dickie, Jackie & and the entire family.... May you rest in PEACE.
