Patrick Darrell Benoit

Patrick Darrell Benoit, age 64, passed away Thursday June 24, 2021 surrounded by his family in his brother Bradley's home. He was born March 20, 1957 in Creole, LA to parents Herbert Benoit and Lorraine Savoie.

Patrick moved to Angleton, Texas and later moved to Vinton, LA. He worked as a welder for many years and was a member of the Catholic faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert Benoit and Lorraine Savoie and two brothers Gregory Benoit and Dexter Benoit.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda Benoit; his two daughters Kobina Benoit of Sulphur, LA, Brittney Morgan (Dustin) of Sulphur, LA; his three brothers Lionel "T. Boy" Benoit of Ragley, LA, Marlon Benoit of Ragley, LA, Bradley Benoit (Tenille) of Lake Charles, LA; his four sisters Sue Largent of Hackberry, LA, Leola Doxey (Clyde) of Lake Arthur,LA, Margaret Mims (Milton) of Longville, LA, and Drusilla Conner (Nadeem) of Grand Lake, LA; five step-children Ricky, Ronnie, Randy, Kathy, and Angie; two granddaughters and one special granddaughter Cora Waddle, along with a host of other family members and friends, and his special caregiver Theresa Johnson.

Visitation will be Sunday June 27, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday June 27, 2021. Visitation will resume Monday morning at 8 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. and will be led by Father Rojo Koonathan.
