Paula was a native of Lake Charles and long time resident of Hecker. She was a graduate of McNeese State University as a Registered Nurse and had recently retired from Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Roussell of Hecker; children, Carly Leonards and husband Jason of Lake Charles and Luke Roussell and wife Rose of Jennings; grandchildren, Grant, Reid, Kate Leonards, Seth and Simon Roussell; brothers, Randol Savant, Kenneth Savant and wife Denise, and Jason Savant and wife Codi; and sister, Andra Savant.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Paula's Memorial Mass will be held at St. Margaret's Catholic Church on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 11:30 am. The church will open at 10:30 am to welcome friends and family.
