Renetta S Waits

She was born January 29, 1945 in Lake Charles to Percy and Maude Darbonne. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, and two brothers.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband David “Terry” Waits of Ragley, daughter Holly Rae Waits of Lake Charles, step daughter, Gail Waits Combs of Ragley, two brothers, Kenneth Darbonne and wife Susan of Sulphur and Steve Darbonne and wife Linda of Lake Charles, one sister Jennifer Davis of Jasper, TX and two grandchildren, David Ray Waits and Cooper Ray Livingston and thirteen nieces and nephews.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo and rummy. Sue was a member of St. Theodores Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 5 to 9 pm with a rosary at 6 pm and will resume on Thursday from 8:30 am until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A funeral service will be on Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles.
