Richard Matthew See

He was a Louisiana native and member of the First United Methodist Church in Lake Charles. He was a member of the First Methodist Men and sang in their choir. He was a Louisiana Tech Alumni. He was a very special and giving man.

He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Reeves of Groves, Texas; nephews, Douglas Reeves Jr., Lewis Reeves, Scott See, and David See; and nieces, Sally Boverie, Sue Reeves, and Rebecca See. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy See; and brother, Harry See.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Lake Charles. Rev. Weldon Bares will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Visitation will resume at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at First United Methodist Church in Lake Charles.
