Richard C. Taylor

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn "Syd" Taylor and Benjamin Otto Taylor.

He is survived by his brother, Sydney B. Taylor, Sr. and his nieces and nephews, Kathy and Tony Miller, Linda and Rick Brown, Scott Taylor and Ben and Sally Taylor. He is also survived by five grand nieces and nephews of whom he was very proud.

Mr. Taylor was a proud graduate of the Lake Charles High School class of 1954 and LSU class of 1959. He was an avid LSU Fan of all aspects of the university. He worked and retired from Travelers Insurance Company. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a very social fraternity progressing through the Mosely, Founder, Bunting, Phoenix and Levere levels of Alumni Sponsorship. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He greatly enjoyed the company of friends and loved to play the trivia game at Pappy's with his compadres.

Mr. Taylor's funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson Funeral Home on Ryan Street. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, March 5th from 5:00p.m.to 8:00p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.
