Robert was born on, October 31, 1956 to loving parents Norman and Carolyn Knippers.

He passed away with his wife and daughter by his bedside on May 12, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Carolyn Knippers; Grandparents, Amos and Mae Knippers, Marvin and Zelma Sandel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lessie Knippers; daughter, Amanda E. Knippers and Fiancée, Jordan Mothershed; son Robert Andrew Knippers and wife Carolyn; Grandson, Nathaniel Knippers; stepgrandson, Lucas Ayres; brother, David Knippers and wife, Jennifer Knippers.

Robert was the type of person that you loved to be around. He worked alongside his father. He owned and operated Norman Knippers Used Cars, an established business for over 60 years.

His service will be 2:00pm, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Many Church of Nazarene, Many, LA. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Florien Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
