He is survived by his mother Althea M. Thomas of Moss Bluff; son Roger Dale Thomas, Jr of Moss Bluff; brother, Garland Odel Thomas of Moss Bluff; sister, Donna Gale Thomas of Moss Bluff.

Graveside service will be 11am, December, 16, 2019 at Birdnest Cemetery.
