She was born June 2, 1939 to Ellis and Evelyn Parrott in Shreveport , La.
Rosemary touched many lives as she taught three-year-old Pre-K children for over thirty years. Many knew of her love of Elvis Presley's music as it was often playing when they came to visit. Rosemary was a devoted wife and mother, stern disciplinarian, and a great talent in the kitchen.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Raymond (Buddy) Atkinson. Also, two sons: Ray Atkinson and his wife, Debbie of Mineola, Texas and Tommy Atkinson and his wife Shannon of Flint, Texas and three grandchildren, Karly Atkinson of Glenmora, LA, Ashlyn and Nicholas Atkinson of Flint, TX

Visitation is Friday evening, April 20, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm and resumes Saturday morning, 08:00-10:00am.
