Ruby Pearl Parker

She was born to parents Ollie and Eva Modrall on February 8, 1921 in Blackwell, TX.

Ruby lived in Moss Bluff, LA and was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. She was an All- State Basketball player all through high school. She loved to dance, travel, cook, and sew.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Eva Modrall and her husband Wensel Parker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Ray Parker of Crowley, LA and Kenny Parker of Lakeway, TX; her daughters Charlotte Mahfouz of Moss Bluff, LA and Nelda LeBlanc of Lake Charles, LA; her brother Kenneth Modrall of Myrtle Point, OR; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday February 8 from 9:30 am to 11 am at the Lake Charles Hixson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11 am Tuesday and burial will immediately follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery.
