Samuel Eric Ponce Sr., 45, of El Paso, Texas, passed away at 1:00 A.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at his home in Sulphur, Louisiana. He was born February 22, 1968 in El Paso, TX to Fred Beebe and Maria Elida Ponce. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his three children and nephew, Samantha, Samuel Eric Jr., Eric Samuel, and Gerardo Ponce. Also surviving are several brothers and his aunt Mary.
Samuel worked with Trinity Industries for many years until his passing. He will be remembered as a loving father who enjoyed being with his kids when he could, going to the gym, eating, movies, and a past time of fishing with his grandfather.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. with visitation from noon until the start of service at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
