Stanley Hughes Allen

He was born in Lake Charles in 1941 to the late Henry and Marguerite Allen.

Stan proudly served in the United States Navy for 10 years and did 3 tours in Vietnam. He returned home and worked for Martin GMC before taking a position with Halliburton as an Oilfield Mechanic before retirement. Stan loved antique cars and was an active member of the Antique Automobile Club of America Contraband Chapter, and past president of the Contraband Rod & Custom Club. Stan was also a advocate animal lover.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister; Sallie Allen. Left to cherish his memory are his wife; Joyce Allen, daughter; Anita Jo Nelson Bruce and husband Robbie Bruce, grandsons; Casey Nelson and wife Amy and Nick Bruce and wife Adrianna, and 3 great grandchildren; Brady, Miley and Kody.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, October 30, 2017 from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home, Lake Charles.
