Stephanie Ann Trahan

Stephanie was born March 19, 1949 in Crowley, LA to Raleigh and Fay Spell. She moved to Lake Charles area around the age of one. She loved to sew, loved being outdoors with her family and working in her garden. She loved football and was an avid Saints fan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Becky Hutchins and husband C-Ray of Lake Charles; two brothers, Ted Spell and wife Gerrie of Lake Charles and Mike Bourgeois and wife Brenda of Texas; three sisters, Sandra Hartman of Westlake, Susan McMillian of Texas and Kathleen Wilson and husband Harry of Moss Bluff; six grandchildren, Darrien, Cody, Christian, Christopher, Destany and Cayden. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bobbie Lee Trahan; and her parents, Raleigh and Fay Spell.

Her funeral will be at 2:30p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Reverend Tom Bruce will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4p.m. to 9p.m. and will resume on Sunday from 8a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
