Terrell "Terry" J. Cagle

Terrell “Terry” J. Cagle, 56, of LaPorte TX, formerly of Lake Charles passed away suddenly on November 16, 2016. Born in 1960 in Sulphur, LA to John and Vivian (Latta) Cagle. He was a 1978 graduate of Barbe High school. He married the love of his life, Carol Hargrave, in 1984 and together had 32 years of living and loving together.

Terry was Harley enthusiast and often rode Poker Runs collecting funds for many charitable efforts. He was a social man who loved spending time with his family and friends. Camping was a favorite pastime for him and his wife, Carol. A natural grill master, he spent many hours behind the grill cooking for family and friends….sometimes serving a little bit too well done.

He is predeceased by his mother, Vivan Latta Cagle. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Cagle, father; John Cagle, sister; Jena Cagle, brother; Darrin (Rebecca) Cagle, step children; Mark Fontenot and Angela Still, 5 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 1 nephew and numerous friends. He will be loved forever and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 11am until service time at 2pm. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, LA. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
