Tessie Duff Hall

Mrs. Hall obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Southeastern Louisiana College (Southeastern Louisiana University) and her Masters of Business Administration from McNeese State University. Mrs. Hall taught at Lake Charles High School and was employed at Cities Services Refinery, and Magnolia Life Insurance Company.

Mrs. Hall was an active member of University United Methodist Church of Lake Charles, where she was a member of Branches Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Money Makers Women’s Investment Club.

She is survived by her daughter Dr. Peggy Hall Whatley and husband Roger of Alpharetta, GA, two grandchildren Sean Whatley and Erin Whatley of Alpharetta, GA, and one sister Veda Tohline of Jonesboro, LA. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband Clifford T. Hall and her parents Richard and Lura Duff.

Funeral Services will be held it University United Methodist Church at 11 Am, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 4PM until 6 PM and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
