Veronica Fontenot Parker

Veronica absolutely loved her animals, especially Bumper, Bubba and Sassy. She enjoyed flowers, crossword puzzles, sewing and playing the piano. Her biggest passion was fishing with her husband.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 23 years, Randy Parker; children, Braxton Fontenot (Ashley), Lydia Lyons (Tony) and Emma Johnson (Alex); two step children, Adam Parker (Kaitlyn) and Laiken Pierce (Jacob); and nine grandchildren, Noah, Madilyn, McKenna, Autumn, Alex Jr., Avie, Olive, Graham and Cash Lee; mother, Sally Mondella.

She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Mondella; maternal grandparents, Sally Mae and Vernon Wilson and paternal grandparents, Dominic and Rita Mondella.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Monday, March 25, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to be held at 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh, LA with Sister Camille Martinez officiating at the service.
