Dr. Virginia Anne Cook, Age 80, a native of West Carroll Parish and resident of Lake Charles was entrusted to God’s loving care on Monday, January 26, 2015. Dr. Cook retired from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux as a Mathematics Professor. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Nu Chapter.
Dr. Cook is survived by numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Cook and Lorraine Myers Cook.
Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM until Christian Service at 7:00 PM. Reverend Don Johnson will officiate.
