He was born in New Orleans on December 19, 1931 to James and Anna LaPrime. Warren loved the outdoors and working in his work shop. He was a Saints fan and a Veteran of the Air Force for 22 years. His family would like to give special thanks to Henry and Evelina LeJeune for all that they have done for him.
He is survived by his daughters; Patricia LaPrime, Laura Kelly and husband Brad Kelly of Bedford, VA; sons, Tommy LaPrime and wife Patty of Moss Bluff, and Ronnie LaPrime and wife Angie of DeQuincy; sisters, Emma June, Joy McBee and her husband Warren of New Orleans, and Geraldine Smith and husband Johnny of Laplace, VA; brothers, William “Wild Bill” LaPrime of Wavaland, MS, Kirby LaPrime of Hammond, and Charlie LaPrime and wife Barbara of New Orleans; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by lifelong friends, Robert and Marion Thompson of Azle, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Wava Marie LaPrime; daughter, Janet Marie Garvin; parents, James and Anna LaPrime; brothers, James “Red: LaPrime and Robert “Buddy” LaPrime.
His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Brandon Stutes will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of service.
