Willa Dean Theriot Morris

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener, she loved sewing, arts and crafts and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, William O. "Bill" Morris of Lake Charles (formerly of Creole); son, Michael Morris and wife Melanie of Carlyss; daughters, Cindy Core and husband Ray of Folsom; Becky Jenkins and husband Luke of College Station, TX; Derinda Mouton and husband Val of Lake Charles; mother, Thelma Theriot of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Willie Core and wife Andree; Ryan Core and wife Kaci; Garrison and Madeline Jenkins; Kelsey, Nicholas and Allie Morris and D.G. Manuel. She is preceded in death by her father, Maurice Theriot.

Her service will be at 10am, Monday, September 9, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Rev. Whitney Miller and Bro. Lee Whitley will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, 2pm until 8pm with a rosary at 6pm and resume Monday from 9am until time of service. Burial will be at Sweetlake/Grand Lake Cemetery.
