He was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend. Junebug enjoyed spending time out in his garden picking vegetables to give away to everyone he knew especially his okra. He loved passing on his passion of gardening to his great nieces and friends.
Junebug loved driving to his friend's and family's houses on his side-by-side to visit. He always had treats to give to all the kids in the neighborhood anytime they'd come to visit; and when he wasn't home he always kept some in his pocket to hand out. He served his country for 4 years in the United States Army. After leaving the service he worked at ACE Air Conditioning where he retired after many years.
Junebug is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ezola Langley; and sister Shirley Fontenot.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son Jeffrey Langley; and sister Juanita Faye LeBleu and nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial will follow at Prien Memorial Park.
