Sharon and I loved Brother Bennett. He performed our wedding and was a great man of God. God bless his family.

I was so sad to read about Bro. Bennett's passing. He was my pastor at Willow Drive Baptist when I was a child, and he also Baptized me. He was a wonderful minister. To the Bennett family, you will be in my prayers.

I'm so sorry that Uncle Wayne has passed away.  He was a wonderful man.  I've recently been thinking that I needed to get in touch with him and his family.  When I saw him at Dad's funeral, he told me, "Peope don't always have time to get to know each other.  I think one of the first things that will happen when we go to Heaven is that we'll get to know each other." I thought this was so touching.  He is with his parents and siblings now.

Wayne was a gifted bible teacher and we loved being at Willow Drive Baptist when he was pastor and we lived in Lake Jackson. He taught me the fine art of "floundering" and was a wonderful friend to our family.

Reverend Bennett was a kind and gentle man. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you.
