Ageda M. Bartlett

Ageda M. "Agnes" Bartlett, age 87, of Lake Odessa, passed away suddenly on Friday morning, October 15, 2010. Agnes was born in Tulsa, OK on February 5, 1923 to Esiquio and Leonor (Mercadanti) Casillas. She was united in marriage to Orvin Bartlett on October 27, 1945. Agnes is survived by her sons, Rick Bartlett, Phil (Catherine) Bartlett, Pat (Robin) Bartlett, and Steve (Linda) Bartlett; grandchildren, Rebecca Rodgers, Heather (Scott) Palmer, Eric (Megan) Bartlett, Anthony (Hayley) Bartlett, Paul Bartlett, Angela (Tony) Walliczek, Jessica (James) Kane, Elizabeth Bartlett, and Benjamin Bartlett; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Stella Silvas, Elvira Rivera, and Becky (Eligio) Galaviz; and brother-in-law, Manuel (Betty) Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvin; and sisters and brothers, Susie Cooley, Connie Harder, Janie Rodriguez, Eli Casillas, and Pilo Casillas. Visitation with the family will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 5-8 PM, with the Rosary being prayed at 7:30 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 20 at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa. The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edwards Church.
