Bonnie Kay Haskins

Bonnie K. Haskins, age 73, of Lake Odessa passed unexpectedly on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Spectrum Health Pennock Campus in Hastings.  Bonnie was born on March 18, 1944 in Hastings to Walter “Lefty” and Frances (Clark) Richardson.  The family will never forget how selfless Bonnie was putting her family first.  Bonnie had a great sense of humor and a positive attitude that made everyone feel like family and never failed to help someone in need.  She volunteered for many years at Pennock Hospital.

She will be dearly missed by: husband Ronald, children Christine Haskins, Cathy (Ladean) Schrock, Dave (Kristina)Haskins, and Scott (Heather) Haskins; grandchildren Casey (Carrie) Schrock, Jesse (Mallorie) Schrock, Kelsey Schrock, Morgan Haskins, Tyler Schrock, Chloe Haskins and Ayden Haskins; great grandchildren Andi, Natalie, Raelin, Easton and Gatlyn; siblings Beverly Hewitt, Joan Hunt and Carol Ferris.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her; parents Lefty and Fran, and brother Glen Richardson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Koops Funeral Chapel from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm.  Funeral services will take place at the Lakewood United Methodist Church on February 1, 2018 at 11am.  Burial will take place at the Clarksville Cemetery at 2pm on February 1, 2018.  Memorials in Bonnie’s name can be given to the Jordan Lake Trail, or Lakewood Educational Foundation.
