Dakota Rice

Dakota graduated from Lakewood High School in 2014. In the years that followed, he was known for a gentle spirit and an easy humor that could soften hard moments and draw others close. His kindness was steady and sincere, and those who knew him best will remember how naturally he looked for the good and light in the world, never hesitating to lend a hand where he could.

Dakota found joy in music, and he also enjoyed professional wrestling and Juggalo Wrestling interests that reflected both his enthusiasm for what he loved and the simple happiness he took in sharing it with others.

Dakota is survived by his mom, Colleen Rice; uncle Brian Rice; aunt Kelly (Joshua) Brock; Uncle Kyle Rice; Uncles Jeff Martinez and Michael Martinez; Aunt Michelle Martinez; Aunt Amber Velte; along with many cousins and friends.

Dakota was preceded in death by his father and brother Baelyn Kruger along with grandparents Kathy and Mike Martinez.

A Celebration of Dakota's life is being planned and will be announced at later date.
