Donald Possehn

On April 3, 1947, he married Marie Hansbarger and together they spent 72 years side by side working the family farm.  Marie proceeded Donald in death on February 17, 2020.

Donald leaves behind:  Children Carole (Ken) Benson, Bob (Peg) Possehn, Donna Possehn and Annette (Dennis) Visser, 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a sister Lucille Heppe, sister-in-law Katherine Possehn, brother Raymond (Marilyn) Possehn. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie, parents, five siblings and great-grandson Timothy Havens.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service for Don and Marie will be held on August 21, 2020 at the First Congregational Church of Lake Odessa ( 767 4th Ave, Lake Odessa, MI 48849) starting at 11 am with family receiving friends and family from 10 am until time of service.  People attending are reminded to please wear their masks and observe social distancing.

The family would like to give special thanks to Green Acres of Ionia and Ionia Area Hospice for the care they gave to both Don and Marie.
