

James Geiger, age 82, went to be with his Lord, December 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Verie (Strong) Geiger; siblings, Beulah Benedict, Dale E. Geiger, Vaughn Geiger and Dean Geiger. James will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Betty Geiger (Wolfe); his children, Sali (Patrick) Raffler, Debra (Douglas) Taylor, Kevin (Terri) Geiger, Lori (Steve) Kilbourn; his grandchildren, Meghan, Zachery, and Molly Rose Kilbourn, Katelyn Raffler, Tracy, Jeffrey, Tara and Joseph Schmidt; and his nieces and nephews. James worked for over 40 years at Hatzel & Buehler Inc. as an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). He served in the US Army in the Korean War. For many years, Jim coached Little League Baseball and Softball. He also enjoyed playing in Fast Pitch Softball Leagues, watching his grandkids' ball games and following the Tigers on TV. Jim kept busy tinkering around the house and out in the barn. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. A time for relatives and friends to visit with James' family will be held from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday, at Koops Funeral Chapel, 935 - 4th Ave. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 17. Rev. Mark Jarvie will be officiating. Interment will be at Clarksville Cemetery. In honor of James, contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars.
