June 18, 1972 – January 2, 2021
Jared Tischer, age 48, born June 18, 1972, passed away on January 2, 2021, at his parent’s home with his mom and dad, Corwin and Kay Tischer, by his side.
Jared leaves behind the love of his life, Sherry Kilborn-Tischer, sons, Nathan (Laura) Tischer and Tyler Lee Clawson-Tischer, family members, Riley Eggers and Isaac Eggers, grandson, Oryn Lee Tischer, sisters, Tami (Tim) Hodge, Coreen (Matthew) McCaul and Wendy Tischer-Arens, along with many nieces and nephews. Jared loved and was loved by his family, and his friends. He will be dearly missed. Jared was preceded in death by his grandparents; Gerald and Fern Tischer of Lake Odessa, and Wilna and Charley Price of Freeport.
Jared graduated from Lakewood High School in 1992. Jared enjoyed working for Jim’s Service and Stahl Lawn care. Later, Jared worked at Lich Farm Service while attending Lansing Community College. Jared’s first real love was farming, and it was a real love and ran deep in his blood. Jared’s family remembers he would work hard to tackle any task on the family farm and he had a very strong work ethic. He had faith in the Lord and loved to help others; Jared’s heart was so incredibly big, known to literally give the shirt off his back and shoes off his feet to someone in need. Jared’s family wishes to share that you should love yourself and be a giving friend as he would. May he rest in peace.
Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. Psalm 126: 5-6
*There is something beautiful in small seeds and we need to be reminded of this. When our hearts are broken and weeping, when grief strikes and we feel like the tears will never stop, and we have cried an ocean, the Bible says they are just seeds. Then the seeds are planted, covered in dirt and persevere the season of growth. There’s perseverance and a reminder to not give up because somehow we sow tears and reap joy, and our joy will be greater. `Annie F. Downs
