John Douglas Curtis

John Douglas Curtis, age 70, of Saranac, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Blodgett Campus of Spectrum health after fighting lung issues for the past year. John was born January 3, 1952 to Henry and Leona Curtis. John was always there to lend a hand and if you were a friend you quickly became family to him. He worked as a handyman and could fix just about anything.

John will be forever missed by; his children Catrina and Shawn, several grandchildren, sister Mary Fry, brother Bradley (Sally) Curtis, many nieces and nephews, cousins and too many friends to count, special friends Cheryl, Martin, Charlie and his furever companion Howdy.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, son Joshua, brothers Duke Curtis, Randy Curtis and Robert Potter.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on July 23, 2022 at 10am at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.

Memorials in John's name can be given to Ionia County Animal Shelter.
