I am the daughter of Grace (Bryans) Walton and a cousin to Joy and her siblings. "Joy" is a perfect name to describe her. I remember when I spent a week with her family (back in the '40s) and we went to the Ionia Fair. As a pre-teen myself at the time, that was a big deal and we had a great time. Aunt Winnie and Aunt Mary spent time in the bingo tent while us kids toured the 4H animal barns and garden produce exhibits. Fond memories for me. (My neighbor in Hastings (Phyllis Usborne) knew Joy and Jack as well. She speaks fondly of them.) My sincere condolences on the loss of both your parents.
